The School can only be accessed travelling in a south–bound direction on London Road. Using the School's post code NN8 2BX will bring drivers to the delivery entrance on Irthlingborough Road. From here proceed to the traffic lights, approx 150 yards west of the gates, at the junction with London Road, turn left at the lights. Entrance is on the left approx 200 yards from the junction and is signposted.

By Road from the M1: Leave at junction 15 and follow the signs for Northampton. Bypass Northampton and follow the directions below for the A45.

By Road from Northampton on the A45 (travelling east): Visitors from Northampton should join the A45 and take the second signposted exit to Wellingborough (do not turn left at the big roundabout). From the slip road, take the second exit from the island.

By Road from the A45 (travelling west): The Wellingborough exit is 6 miles after the beginning of the dual carriageway and immediately after the petrol station. Follow the road under the A45, taking the second exit from the island. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto The Embankment and continue on this road to the next island, then take the first exit to Irthlingborough Road. Continuing along this road, you will pass the northern boundary of the School’s site. At the end of the road, turn left at the traffic lights onto London Road. Entrance to the School is on the left hand side approximately half way down the hill and is signposted.

By Road from the A14 (A1-M1 link): Follow the exit for A509 to Wellingborough and drive through the town centre’s one-way system, following the signage for Milton Keynes. After the one way system, you will be travelling south on London Road, rising up a hill to traffic lights at the top. Continue through these traffic lights on London Road. Entrance to the School is on the left hand side approximately half way down the hill and is signposted.

The following four paragraphs are only relevant for visiting sports teams and supporters.

Weekday Sports Fixtures. With limited parking space, we must prioritise capacity for the collection of pupils and so we ask those parents coming to support children in matches not to park on site (visiting and home teams). Alternatively public car parks (Swansgate and Castle) are only a short walk from School.

Weekend Sports Fixtures. There are no restrictions on parking on site for weekend fixtures in most cases. Where these are necessary for particular events, they will be advised separately.

Visiting Sports Teams. There is no access to the site for coaches. Coaches should drop pupils on Irthlingborough Road to use the pedestrian entrance(s) and then move off to an alternative location until departure time.

Teams travelling by minibus should register ahead, providing details of their vehicle and should approach via the Irthlingborough Road to park in the Quadrangle. Further details are available from your contact in the Sports Department.

By Train: Wellingborough Station is on the London-Sheffield line, 8 minutes from Kettering, 12 minutes from Bedford, 20 minutes from Market Harborough and 45-50 minutes from St. Pancras.

Airports: Heathrow and Stansted airports are comfortably within one and a half hours by road. Luton and Birmingham airports are less than an hour's drive away.
