Fiddle Fiesta - Monday 28 June

We were delighted, after the success of last year’s Fiddle Fiesta, that the Music Department once again organised this special concert to include pupils ranging from Y2 (age 6 and 7) to Y13 (age 18).  A number of well known and not-so-well-known pieces were played, with over fifty pupils and teachers playing either violin, viola, cello or double base, accompanied by the piano.  The children in Year 2 played a very important part in all the pieces and were pleased with their efforts at the culmination of a year’s hard learning and practice.  We even had a leaver, who had returned especially for the event!

Mr Wyn Jones for all their hard work in organising the event and to Mr Runnells, Mr Garfirth and Mrs Barnhurst for accompanying the pupils.
