11+ The Foundation Scholarship examination takes place on Saturday 8th January with tests in English, Mathematics and Reasoning.
Interviews for selected candidates will be held on Saturday, 22nd January.
The closing date for written applications: Wednesday 5th January 2011.
13+ Entrance Scholarship examination takes place on Saturday 15th January.
All candidates will take tests in English and Mathematics. In addition candidates will be asked to offer papers in two of the following: French, Geography, History, Latin, Science, Spanish and Religious Studies.
Selected candidates will be invited to interview before Saturday 29th January.
The closing date for written applications: Wednesday 5th January 2011.
Results will be published on or shortly after 4th February 2011.
16+ The Hawkes Sixth Form Scholarship examination will take place on Saturday, 8th January with papers in English or Maths and another subject of the candidate’s choice which can be selected from: Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Geography, History, Latin, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Language and Physics.
Selected candidates will be invited for interview before Monday 17th January.
The closing date for written applications: Wednesday 5th January 2011.
Results will be published on or shortly after 4th February 2011.
13+ The Nevill Trust All-Rounder Scholarship. The academic entrance examination takes place on Saturday 15th January as detailed above (see Entrance Scholarship details). The Art, Drama, Music and Sport assessments will take place as detailed below.
Please indicate your wish to be considered for the Nevill Trust All-Rounder Scholarship on the application form and confirm which other Scholarships you wish to be considered for (i.e. 13+ Entrance Scholarship plus at least one of the following: Art, Drama, Music, Sport Scholarships). Results will be published following ALL assessments and not before 4th February 2011.
Art Scholarship and Awards
The assessment for Art scholarships will be based on a portfolio which should be delivered to the Senior School Registrar by Wednesday 5th January.

Drama Scholarships and Awards
Assessments will be held at the School during the week beginning 10th January.

Music Scholarships and Awards

Sports Scholarship and Awards
Preliminary assessment will be made following receipt of applications. The final assessment for selected candidates will take place during the week beginning 10th January.

2 Year Post GCSE All-Rounder Bursary Award
The closing date for applications: Wednesday 2nd March 2011.
Bursary Applications
The closing date for applications, details of which can be obtained from the School Bursar, is Monday 28th February 2011.

Candidates for Scholarships or Awards in Art, Drama, Music and Sport at 13+ who are not currently pupils at Wellingborough School or who have not already taken entry tests will be required to do so on Saturday 8th January 2011.

Not all scholarships may be awarded. Equally in a field of strong competition a number of smaller awards may be made to recognise potential in those candidates who do not receive a scholarship.
