Wellingborough School

Wellingborough itself is a former country market town which is ideally placed with easy access to major arterial routes : A14, A45 and M1. In addition it is particularly well-served by the East Midland Trains Rail link to St. Pancras with trains running 2-3 times every hour with a journey time of 48 minutes. An increasing number of parents commute to London on a daily basis. There is easy access in under an hour to a number of airports including Luton, East Midlands, Birmingham and Stansted. Despite the current economic climate the town and surrounding area has benefited as a result of the Government’s dedicated economic development programme “The Milton Keynes Corridor”. In the immediate area there are major Development Plans for "Wellingborough East".

Visitors to the 45-acre site frequently comment upon the extent of the School grounds and the attractive combination of greenery and the tastefully refurbished victorian buildings many of which date back to the move to the present site in 1881.
