Reception 'Sense Walk'
Reception children took a walk around the School to see what different things they could find using all five of their senses.
The Children walked around the school site using their senses. They saw a squirrel looking for food in a rubbish bin, an ambulance, a tractor and trailer, a long ladder and lots more things. They heard an aeroplane's engine, a siren, children's voices and shoes stepping in the leaves. They smelt a bonfire and school lunch being cooked. They felt crunchy dry autumn leaves and smooth shiny conkers. The children didn't taste anything on the walk but heartily enjoyed eating their afternoon snacks at snack time!
