Anti-Bullying Week 13th November 2017
We have had a week of fun activities in promoting Anti-Bullying week and our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have been running a range of activities.
On Monday, they encouraged the pupils to make a blue wristband to signify anti-bullying in our School. There was a real positive atmosphere in the library at break time and lunchtime as they helped each other make different style wristbands.
On Tuesday, there was a talent show to celebrate diversity. Wow, the acts were fantastic.
On Wednesday, it was 'Random act of kindness' day where the whole school were encouraged to be kind to each other in thoughtful action.
On Thursday, a photo booth was kindly set up by Mrs Heath. This was a great success. They dressed up and held a speech bubble with phrases on to stamp out bullying. All the photos will be put in to a collage showing the unifying response to anti-bullying across the Prep School.
Finally, on Friday, we raised money for the Diana Award Charity, as pupils had the opportunity to wear something blue for £1. Our ABA's concluded the week with a final assembly. A huge thanks goes to all that contributed to the week and huge congratulations to our ABA's for their superb effort in making the week a hit!
Hopefully we have all learnt a lot about promoting kindness within our school this week.
