Art students successful at University Competition

Senior Awards

Wellingborough School art students were highly successful at the Northampton University Art Competition, hosted by the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology. 

There were over 400 entries to the competition from thirty schools across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Warwickshire and Cambridgeshire.

Amelia Furniss took the 1st prize for Photography, Zach Cunningham gained the 2nd prize in Graphics, Alice Shoreland won the 2nd prize for Art and Design and Jarrad Spencer received 3rd prize in Graphics and Illustration. Between them they won £1,100 in prize money and made Wellingborough School the most awarded school of the night.

The School are extremely pleased to see the pupils’ hard work recognised and rewarded.
