Links with the Community
There is a conscious commitment from the Heads of each part of the School to promote a sense of Community within our current parental body, as well as amongst friends, former pupils (OWs) and our former parents. Consequently, our extended community is considerable and strong in terms of its links with the School.
The active parental network is fundamentally social, but it also offers help with financial contributions to many small projects such as library books and Information Technology.
The School has been greatly indebted to its three parents' associations - the WSSPA, WPSA and WPPPA - for their assistance and support over the years. Because of the "family feel" of the school, we aim for each group to be aware of the developments in other areas of the School and value opportunities such as the 125 Celebrations, the Chapel Centenary Week, Prep School Centenary and the annual Summer Ball to bring all of the community together.

Community Gospel Choir
The School has organised a Community Gospel Choir which is 80-strong with the majority of singers coming from outside the immediate School community. It meets weekly in the School Chapel and performs charity concerts. It is led by the inspirational Gareth Fuller, a Gospel Choir master, who directs and orchestrates Gospel Choirs throughout the country.
Rehearsals are held in School Chapel on Tuesday evenings, 7.30 to 9.00 pm during term time. We welcome all new singers, there is no audition and choral experience is not necessary.
